No object that exists can be judged in a vacuum. Every object in this universe is connected with the world around it. This concept is both old and new. It’s truth has been gleaned by both the world with its eyes on antiquity and the world with its eyes on the future.
Buddhists have, for centuries, contemplated the connection between the physical and metaphysical. It is now worth considering this philosophy as a simplified analog, for modern quantum mechanics. Even such pious figures, as the Dalai Lama himself, have noted and given credence to this line of thought. Many parallels can be drawn between the faith of the Lama and western science.
Ancient terms can often even be used to describe modern scientific phenomena. The old world has achieved through faith, what western science learned through great effort.
