Consciousness has always been an area for debate among scientists. Is it something in our mind or just a construct of things around us.

Many scientists have said that we can give robots consciousness through artificial intelligence. Great strives have been made on this from with robots. Recent breakthroughs in self awareness have been made in the field of robotics with promising results.

Everyone must have some reservations about this path of technology, just about everyone has seen the Terminator movies.

Other scientists are looking more internally for consciousness into the human brain. Top researchers are exploring the way our brains function and process stimulus . They hope to find the key to consciousness within the neurons of our cells.

This too has been a cause for much debate within the scientific community. The one thing we can all agree on is that the search for consciousness is a ongoing pursuit and studies will continue till it is found.
