Since humans were able to think, there have always been those who strive to find out how and why we exist as we do. From learning about how the body keeps us alive to the possibility of the human soul, scientists have pondered the questions that are very difficult to prove.

Recently, many scientists have started turning their attention to the consciousness. What allows us to be more aware of our surroundings as opposed to plants? There are many theories, but the leading one is that our brains gather information and consciousness is born once they reach a certain point.
