“A Universe from Nothing” by Lawrence Krauss is Dr. Krauss’ latest incarnation [book] describing what is becoming the obvious and unavoidable conclusion of modern Quantum Mechanics that our experience of Something comes from Nothing.
Dr. Kruass is an important figure in physics for taking on the crusade of promoting Quantum Mechanic’s pointing to Something from Nothing.
However, for Dr. Krauss Something from Nothing also points to an atheistic reality. i.e., that the consciousness experience doesn’t exist and therefore is a non issue and that only the physical is.
For me Something from Nothing points to just the opposite, the Universe as a Living organism the mind and body being an inseparable expression of the very same Nothing.
None the less Dr. Krauss is an expert in getting at least half of physics right – Something from Nothing. The other half of what that exactly means I’m not so sure he gets.
Because he does get at least half of it right and he expresses his half so well it makes him someone of interest and importance to listen to.
So, here is a short capitulation of the issue of the ages, “Who are we?”, expressed in terms of the concepts of modern physics put forth by Dr. Krauss.
