Can we have a science of Consciousness?
Advances in science in the twentieth century have greatly changed the way that we view matter. Searching deeper into the building blocks of our world has led to many great innovations that have had a profound effect on everyday life.
Isaac Newton laid the principal foundations of modern-day physics. Though his theories were often lacking or even contradictory, they played a large role in understanding the properties of matter and energy. Albert Einstein’s work started with this Newtonian base and helped to understand relative movement and the constant of the speed of light.
The work of scientists such as these laid the framework for modern Quantum Mechanics. This abstract science goes beyond the tradition view of the world and presents opportunities for physicists to look beyond what is seen in order to understand what is capable. This is the subject of the book ‘The Science of Consciousness.’
