In the deep core of meditation is the quest to find inner peace. When mindfully practiced, meditation can help us take a look at ourselves while leaving the judgmental thoughts behind. For me, meditation was a survival tool during the pandemic. I went through a breakup and loss of job in a matter of days, and this experience really shook me to the bone. Depression and anxiety followed, and I felt fatigued constantly. Meditation provided the escape route, and through it, I found my inner strength to efficiently deal with things that had to be taken care of.
