In his 2005 book Hiding in the Mirror and later in 2012 A Universe from Nothing, Krauss calls in to question the plausibility of string theory and also explains why it is such an enticing way to explain the universe. He has also contributed to the concept of something from nothing considerably with both his critique of string theory and also his explanation and break down of how the material world came into being and how science’s Big Bang Theory is reasonable and provable.
