Quantum Mechanics can be hard to understand. Learning that the physics of the universe can behave differently on very big or very small scale is hard for most people to wrap their heads around, simply because in part it is so hard to actually view such things happening. And when you can see it, its hard to make out exactly what is happening.
But there are examples in the real world people see everyday that might help them understand the way small particles make up big organisms. Take a look at a flock of birds. A flock is made up of tiny birds who are quite small, but when they are combined into a big flock, they look much bigger and all move as one unit.
Take a look at the world around you and see what you find.
